Senior Software Engineer

Jobot is working with a fantastic company! The product is being used by customers all over the United States. This position is for .NET Developers and Software Engineers to grow and perfect their craft in an exciting environment!

Hybrid office schedule after initial training period, with 2 dedicated days in office (Wed/Thu).

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a fast-paced, tech-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the .NET development platform, coupled with hands-on experience in Angular, RESTful, SQL Server, and object-oriented software model. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET, Angular, RESTful, and SQL Server.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Utilize the object-oriented software model to create efficient and effective software solutions.
4. Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Web API, and JavaScript.
5. Implement APIs and Web APIs to enhance software functionality and interoperability.
6. Use WCF, Azure, and AWS for cloud-based development and deployment.
7. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to company standards.
8. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
9. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in order to incorporate relevant technologies into software designs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, specifically with .NET, Angular, RESTful, SQL Server, and object-oriented software model.
3. Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Web API, API, JavaScript, Web API, WCF, Azure, and AWS.
4. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and techniques.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and on budget.
9. Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
