Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to the management team. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of the organization, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, and provide insights and analysis to the management team to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed consistently across the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
• Train and mentor junior staff members, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience. CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a senior staff accountant role or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, and experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with experience in NetSuite a plus.
