Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Enineering Services team . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems and maintaining the security of our data. You will be working with cutting-edge technology and will be given the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and maintain all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, desktops, laptops, email systems, and application servers.
2. Ensure the security of our systems by implementing and maintaining security tools and protocols.
3. Monitor and manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
4. Analyze HTTP traffic to identify and resolve any issues that could impact system performance or security.
5. Manage IT operations, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues, including system failures, security breaches, and other technical problems.
7. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure that all systems are used effectively and responsibly.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and suggest ways to improve our systems and operations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or a similar role.
2. Extensive experience with hardware, software, desktops, laptops, and email systems.
3. Proven experience managing application servers and using security tools.
4. Solid understanding of IT operations and operating systems.
5. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a must.
6. Proficient in analyzing HTTP traffic.
7. Defense clients that require TS\SCI with CI Poly clearance
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
