Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant or CPA with a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting/Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks for clients.
• Tax Planning: Develop tax planning strategies for corporations and high-income individuals.
• Tax Returns: Prepare income tax returns for corporations and individuals, and payroll tax returns.
• Client Interaction: Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Autonomous Work: Work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Confidentiality: Handle all client information with utmost confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong bookkeeping experience (3 years required).
• Proficient in tax preparation and tax planning (3 years required).
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Highly organized, self-starter, disciplined, and courteous.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Reside within a 30-minute commute of the office.
