Senior Tax Accountant

We're a fully remote, modern, and digital forward Tax & Accounting Advisory boutique. Seeking a Senior Tax Accountant - preferably with their EA or CPA - to join our team!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance industry team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing tax planning, preparation, review, and advisory services to our clients. You will also be responsible for bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting tasks. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Develop tax planning strategies for clients
• Provide tax advisory services to clients
• Manage client relationships and maintain communication regarding tax matters
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Perform bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting tasks as needed
• Supervise and train junior staff members
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• CPA or EA certification required
• 3+ years of experience in tax planning, preparation, review, and advisory services
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software programs
