We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns, conducting tax research, analyzing and adjusting general ledgers, and advising clients on changes in tax laws and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and excellent analytical skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, trust and partnership tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Conduct detailed tax research and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Analyze and adjust general ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare tax projections and advise clients on potential tax implications.
  • Reconcile General Ledger Accounts and make appropriate journal entries.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients on how these changes may impact their financial situation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and tax advisory.
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on individual, corporate, trust and partnership taxes.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
