Senior US Tax Associate

Job Title: Senior US Tax Associate
Compensation: $70k - $90k/year CAD
Location: Calgary, AB

A rapidly growing firm is seeking to add a Senior US Tax Associate to its accounting team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The ideal candidate:

• US or CAD CPA preferred
• Prior experience specializing in Individual tax
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Experience with CCH Axcess is an asset
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to grasp new technology tools
• Ability to execute deliverables in a deadline-driven environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, execution, and completion of a wide range of Review and Compilation engagements, both independently and as part of a team
• Prepare personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
• Collaborate with management team on file planning and completion within time constraints
• Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships
• Preparation and review of financial statements and related note disclosure
