We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Service Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting position is responsible for overseeing the service team, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in handling pumps, gas compressors, mechanical seals, and lubricants. If you are a self-starter with a passion for manufacturing and a track record of delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the service team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
3. Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, including pumps, gas compressors, mechanical seals, and lubricants.
4. Implement and maintain service standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service delivery.
6. Train and mentor service team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
7. Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and parts.
8. Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
9. Develop strategies for improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
10. Prepare and present reports on service operations and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a service management role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in handling pumps, gas compressors, mechanical seals, and lubricants.
3. Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of service management.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively resolve issues and conflicts.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, and senior management.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and systems for service management.
10. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
