Our legal firm is seeking a seasoned Settlement Attorney with a strong background in employment law to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

1. Handle a wide variety of employment law cases, with a focus on settlement negotiations.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate settlement agreements to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
3. Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations, as required.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California employment law, court procedures, and legal precedents.
6. Provide legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and options.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
8. Collaborate with other members of our legal team to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to case management.
9. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and third parties.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current, active membership in the California State Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on employment law.
4. Proven experience in negotiating and drafting settlement agreements.
5. Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
6. Strong knowledge of California employment law and court procedures.
7. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
8. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
9. Ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively under pressure.
10. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal information and formulate effective strategies.
