Job Details

As a Software Development Engineer in Test on our customer success team, you'll be the sole contributor to our core product. You'll will work closely with the Product Manager and Customer Success team to understand the requirements and user stories that will fuel continuous improvement in the library and its underlying framework. This role will help define and iterate QA best practices, plan and develop new automation features, and interpret requirements and user stories into product roadmaps. Over time, the SQAE will grow to manage a team of internal contributors and oversee external contributions to development from a developer community.

Job Duties:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our core product and its associated use cases and user personas
  • Diligently maintain the software development lifecycle within Azure DevOps, including the Product Backlog, Defect Tracker, Releases, Repository, Wiki, and Development Tasks
  • Organize, prioritize, design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot Test Cases based on best practices
  • Plan, design, estimate, and develop test framework enhancements and features
  • Manage and develop test reporting and analysis
  • Manage test infrastructure, including Jenkins pipelines and Azure infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to define, iterate, and educate quality assurance best practices
  • Maintain Coding Conventions and our Test Strategy
  • Research developments in quality assurance and test automation to stay current
  • Translate business requirements, user stories, and research into an associated product roadmap and estimated timelines
  • Coordinate development and test execution efforts across teams, when applicable
  • Provide technical leadership and influence to any contributors

Ideal Background:
  • 5+ years of experience providing QA test leadership and influence
  • Scripting abilities with Gherkin or other scripting languages
  • Cucumber or Selenium experience with Jenkins
  • SQL skills
  • Azure DevOps would be great
  • Experience with automated testing for browser applications, windows native applications, terminal emulation, and REST API’s
  • Experience with supply chain systems such as Blue Yonder (nice to have)
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree
