Software Engineer (US Citizenship Required)

Title: Software Engineer (One Jr. Level and one Mid-Level)
Location: Chantilly, VA (must be on-site)
Salary: $80,000- $115,000 depending on experience

Our client is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience, and a Jr-Level Software Engineer (0-2 years of experience) to support development and advancement of a large-scale distributed data aggregation platform primarily focused on collection of system performance data for algorithmic and machine-learning (ML) analysis.

Ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Engineering (or similar degree) and must have strong experience with:

• Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS), including ability to navigate a shell and knowledge of built-in, simple, and complex commands
• Bash / shell scripting
• Java, C++, and/or Python
• Git

Candidate must have some experience with:

• Distributed networked systems
• Docker Containers including creation, customization, interaction, and debugging
• Makefiles

Additional experience desired with:

• Machine learning/Natural Language Processing
• Microservice based architectures
• Rust
• Flutter / Dart
• Google Protobufs
