Software Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. As a Software Engineer, your duties will include:

1. Utilizing your expertise in Java and C++ to develop and maintain robust, high-performance software systems. If you don't have direct experience with Java/ C++, any experience with an object- oriented language is fine.
2. Leveraging AWS and Apache Spark to manage large data sets, ensuring high-speed data processing and retrieval.
3. Developing and implementing trading systems and high-frequency trading algorithms to improve trading efficiency and profitability.
4. Working in a low latency environment, ensuring that our software solutions deliver maximum performance at all times.
5. Collaborating with other engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving software issues, ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that our software solutions remain at the forefront of the technology industry.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer position should have the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and C++.
3. Proven experience with AWS and a strong understanding of managing large data sets.
4. Experience with trading systems and high-frequency trading, with a deep understanding of the associated algorithms and systems.
5. Experience working in a low latency environment, with a focus on high-performance software solutions.
