Job Details:

Our company, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Contract Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge software solutions that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of talented engineers to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our business needs and objectives. This is a contract position, offering a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement software solutions that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Develop and maintain our web applications using React and Node.
4. Manage and optimize our databases using NoSQL and MySQL.
5. Develop, manage, and maintain APIs to integrate our systems and processes.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
7. Conduct regular software tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain current and competitive.
9. Document all software development processes for future reference and improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in React, Node, NoSQL, MySQL, and APIs.
4. Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its processes is a plus.
