Job Details

The Product Manager - Software candidate must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to lead the development and commercialization of Master Meter's software solutions to the North American utility market. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working cross-functionally within the organization and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Software System Engineer to build, develop, deliver, and maintain a product plan for all North American Software products, creating meaningful value for customers and all stakeholders.
  • Be the outbound focal point to the business unit, sales, support, and customers.
  • Understand customer needs and market requirements/direction. Serve as the voice of customer to ensure new product features/benefits meet customer needs.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and product opportunities. Complete competitive analysis including pricing, product functionality, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead the development and commercialization of future products. Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders in various organizational departments including R&D, Sales, Customer support - STS, Quality, Production, and Marketing domestically and across multiple continents including our Israel-based parent company.
  • Manage product development life cycle using an Agile process. Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Stand-ups, Demos, Grooming, Retrospectives, etc.)
  • Build product strategy and tools and introduce the product to Master Meter customers.
  • Lead development of marketing collateral, product related content, and technical literature including:
  • User's manuals
  • Mockups and wireframes
  • Release Notes
  • Sales and Training presentation materials
  • Online Content (case studies, product videos, webinars, etc.)
  • Serve as technical sales expert for new products.
  • Assist sales in responding to RFPs.
  • Perform presentations/demonstrations both virtually and in person for sales, customers, and employee/distributor training.
  • Develop pricing for all new products.
  • Travel roughly 3 days/month to visit customers, Regional Sales Managers, and attend conventions and conferences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Related field
  • 5+ Years Business Experience
  • 2+ Years Product Management or Software Development Experience
  • Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time including internationally
