An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Software QA Test Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is proficient in QA automation, to ensure the quality of our software applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
As a Software QA Test Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing scripts for software applications
2. Collaborating with the software development team to understand product changes and update tests accordingly.
3. Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to ensure resolution and compliance with quality standards.
4. Participating in the design and development of comprehensive test plans and procedures for system testing.
5. Reviewing and analyzing system specifications for QA requirements and to ensure full coverage of system requirements.
6. Implementing QA process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Participating in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
8. Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Software QA Test Engineer position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
5. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
6. Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
7. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
