Job Details
Responsibilities:
3D modeling (in Solidworks Professional 2024) of solar array hardware, including structural elements, mechanical hardware/fasteners, electrical cables, assembly configurations, and components for simple fabrication (such as brackets).
2D drafting (in Solidworks Professional 2024) of assemblies, general arrangement drawings, and detail views.
On-site here in Mather (not remote) 7 am – 4 pm.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
7 years minimum recent mechanical design experience with Solidworks 3D and 2D CAD
Working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 drafting standard
Experience working within a Product Data Management (PDM system)
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
High proficiency in 3D cable/hose route modeling preferred
Location on site in Sacramento
7a-4pm Monday- Friday
Project length about 8 weeks
