Job Description:
· Perform monthly closing activities, including analysis of accounts and preparation of complex journal entries
· Prepare and review account reconciliations and complete analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure the accuracy and validity of transactions
· Provide support and guidance to the operations and finance teams to identify and recommend cost savings or improvements
· Prepare special projects as requested by management
· Provide support in both the external and SOX audits
· Play a key role with establishing, implementing, and documenting accounting policies and procedures
· Assist in the preparation of 10Q and 10K schedules
· Other duties as required to assist the department needs

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or CMA a plus
· 4+ years’ experience in cost and general ledger accounting; manufacturing industry or CPG company a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s), SAP or comparable ERP system strongly preferred, Hyperion a plus
· Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to handle a variety of tasks as well as problem solve with the ability to work independently
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to travel between company locations (10% travel required)
