This role will primarily focus on a broad range of complex legal matters including Personal Injury Law, Sex Trafficking, Human Trafficking, Civil Rights, Victims' Rights, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, Commercial Vehicle, and Catastrophic Injury. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in second chair, trial prep, discovery disputes, motions to compel, depositions, and trials. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Provide expert legal counsel and advice on complex legal issues relating to Personal Injury Law, Sex Trafficking, Human Trafficking, Civil Rights, Victims' Rights, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, Commercial Vehicle, and Catastrophic Injury.
- Act as second chair in trials, assisting with trial preparation, managing discovery disputes, and drafting and arguing motions to compel.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the organization in depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and legal trends related to our areas of practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be barred in the state of Georgia.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on Personal Injury Law, Sex Trafficking, Human Trafficking, Civil Rights, Victims' Rights, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, Commercial Vehicle, and Catastrophic Injury.
- Proven experience in second chair, trial prep, discovery disputes, motions to compel, depositions, and trials.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation and civil litigation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Open to relocation.
- Strong ethical and professional standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding the rights of victims and fighting for justice.
