Sr. Policy and Training Analyst
Under the direction of the Manager, Policy & Training, the Senior Policy & Training Analyst serves as an integral part of the Casino Compliance department supporting the critical initiatives associated with policy and procedure development and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training. This position also develops and implements Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures (P&Ps). As part of a centralized training program, the Senior Policy & Training Analyst develops, coordinates, and facilitates BSA/AML training (content and delivery) using vendor-supplied web-based training systems. This position also manages the online training system and conducts virtual and in-person training for team members, leadership, and executives.\

Utilizes independent judgment based on prior experience, training, and education to initiate a review, update, and implement documentation to support the BSA/AML compliance program. Reviews documentation to determine their relevance and make recommendations to leadership regarding updates/changes when necessary. Develops and implements critical initiatives associated with BSA/AML P&P development, including the review of products/services for the Casino Compliance Risk Assessment and the centralization of all P&Ps.

Independently reviews BSA/AML training content and customizes it as needed for casino departments. Initiates and facilitates the delivery of virtual and in-person training including testing and remedial training, if needed. Maintains official training records including attendance, test scores, and training material. Ensures training is completed by established deadlines and communicates with the department when necessary.

Education/Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Master's degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a senior level position in the BSA/AML regulatory area is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience with good working knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to the BSA/AML.
  • Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
  • Previous casino experience is preferred
  • Must have the ability to communicate verbally across all levels of the enterprise.
  • Must have good presentation skills, excellent writing skills, and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development, assessment, or review of BSA/AML P&Ps, processes and/or internal controls is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in the delivery of BSA/AML training programs.
  • Experience developing, assessing, or administering BSA/AML risk assessments, suspicious activity investigations, due diligence or audit/independent testing is preferred.
