Sr/Principal Product Validation Engineer

We are a rapidly growing publicly-traded global semiconductor company that is looking for a Sr/Principal Product Validation Engineer to lead and contribute to productization of our Mixed Signal, MEMs, and timing products.

Responsibilities:

• Grow and lead a team of engineers responsible for validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products.
• Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manage projects across different sites.
• Plan and execute device verification and characterization.
• Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
• Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
• Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
• Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices.
• Masters in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. PhD preferred.
• Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans.
• Strong Fundamental knowledge and understanding of mixed-signal circuits
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
• Excellent programming skills, including Python and/or MATLAB scripting
