Job Details

Senior Project Manager

Responsible for On-Time Management of Custom Projects from receipt of purchase order through post-sales. Maintain the project “Master Schedule”. Collaboration with Engineering, Finance, and Operations departments to obtain critical project status information to relay to Client including: status of shop-drawing approvals, project funding, production schedule, logistics/shipping, production delays and unforeseen circumstances to manage client expectations. May require travel to Italy or Spain 1-2x per year to collaborate with team abroad.

Schedule Management of Custom Project Life Cycle:
  • Issue shop drawings and revisions to client
  • Follow up on production deposits
  • Coordinate and host designer mock up reviews
  • Ensure shop drawing approval and production funding is obtained before accepting release and issuing an estimated ship date (ESD). Conduct approval meeting.
  • Request control samples and other relevant info from design team.
  • Follow-up on schedule of domestic and international procurement with Purchasing Department
  • Manage delivery of rough in materials to the jobsite ahead of project completion.
  • Conduct Approval & Turnover Meetings with engineering and production teams to plan how a job is going to be purchased and built
  • Coordinate Shipping and Installation assistance
  • Manage Flos Field Service schedule for post-sale issues
  • Keep detailed records of job life cycle to serve as defense against GC/EC error and/or client time mismanagement. Draft formal communications when necessary

Architectural Project Management for Modifications (done on premises ):
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Director, Engineering and Architectural Project Manager
  • Coordinate project scope and timing with Engineering, Fabrication and Inside Sales Director upon approval/release for production.
  • Communicate shipping schedule to Architectural Project Manager for their Client communication.
  • Maintain/Distribute 2 week work order schedule
