Job Details

Essential Functions:

Conceptualizing and overseeing the design and construction of robotic cells and lines, considering specific requirements and practical design considerations.
Developing and implementing manufacturing automation and robotic processes.
Creating prototype and manufacturing fixtures using SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD.
Assisting in the assembly and installation of manufacturing workcenters.
Managing change control of 3D models and technical drawings through the CCO system.
Operating and maintaining 3D printers.
Creating and updating component and manufacturing procedures via the Engineering Change Control process.
Drafting and executing IQ/OQ/PQ to qualify production within a Medical Device GMP environment.
Providing leadership and technical guidance to the automation engineering team.

Competencies:

Proficiency and prior experience in computer-aided manufacturing automation.
Strong expertise in all aspects of robotic cell design, setup, and programming.
Preferred experience with Epson and Fanuc robots and their programming software.
Proficiency in using SolidWorks CAD software to generate three-dimensional models and technical drawings.
Ability to develop testing methods and provide proof of concept for process/automation concepts.
Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, design, construction, and documentation requirements.
Capacity to enhance the automation team's effectiveness through leadership and technical expertise.
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with professional experience and training appropriate for the position.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation and/or instrument and control systems.
Preferred 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with GMP experience.
