Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Handling all inventory accounting activities, including recording inventory costs, conducting periodic physical counts, and reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger.

2. Managing accounts receivable functions, such as creating invoices, processing payments, and conducting credit checks.

3. Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports in compliance with accepted policies and regulations.

4. Using Sage Intacct software to streamline and automate financial management processes.

5. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

6. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, company procedures, and federal regulations.

7. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.

8. Collaborating with the financial team to improve financial procedures and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of five years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.

3. Proficient knowledge of inventory accounting and accounts receivable.

4. Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports.

5. Proficiency in using Sage Intacct software.

6. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
