Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation.
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as well as prompt receipt of income.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to maintain financial data and create reports.
5. Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
7. Participate in financial audits and work closely with auditors.
8. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
9. Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.
10. Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
4. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable & receivable, and account reconciliation.
5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
