We are looking for an accountant with 0 to 3 years’ experience in public accounting to work in our Lansing, MI office. The right candidate will work under the supervision of experienced accounting staff to perform a variety of basic and intermediate accounting and tax functions. Potential to work some hours remotely.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accounting or tax experience required.
Excellent verbal and writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow directions and ask questions when needed.
Basic computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with accounting and tax software preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop and QBO preferred.
Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to changing technology.
