A bit about us:
We are a food and manufacturing company looking for a staff accountant to join our team. We're looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience, ideally within the manufacturing space. Ideally candidates will have a wide breath of experience with fixed assets and bank reconciliations, along with more traditional responsibilities like maintaining the GL, cost accounting, accruals, etc.
We are also in the midst of a ERP implementation to SAP, so any SAP or related ERP experience is a major bonus.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing and managing all aspects of our ERP system.
2. Assisting with the development and execution of budgets and financial forecasts.
3. Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management.
4. Performing cost accounting tasks and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of our operations.
6. Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.
7. Assisting with ERP implementations and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
8. Participating in financial audits and implementing any necessary changes.
9. Providing support to the accounting team as needed.
10. Continuously improving our financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the technology industry.
2. Experience with SAP, cost accounting, and ERP in manufacturing.
3. A proven track record of successful ERP implementations.
4. Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
5. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
9. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
10. Strong knowledge of financial laws and regulations.
