We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in the engineering industry. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that our financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that our financial operations are aligned with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the company's financial operations, including inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing, reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end-close.
- Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and support to the management team, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and financial institutions.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing, reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end-close.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, preferred.
- CPA certification preferred, but not required.
