Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff or Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Lead and direct junior accounting staff
Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial information
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 3 years of experience in accounting and finance
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with financial accounting software (e.g. Sage or NetSuite)
