We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the real estate industry. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize and grow your accounting skills in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in month-end procedures, coupled with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
1. Record and reconcile cash
2. Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
3. Review AP ledger for weekly payment selections
4. Record real estate closings and purchases
5. Support senior accountant on all monthly related tasks for real estate partnerships
6. Perform month end close process
7. Assist with year-end audits and tax returns

Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate of construction industry
3. Proficiency in month-end procedures, financial reporting, and data analysis
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements
