Staff Accountant

We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

• Daily maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger for liability, equity, and asset accounts to ensure accuracy and validity of accounting

transactions

• Consolidates and prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements for multiple divisions
• Daily review of subsidiary ledger accounts
• Executes month-end close process by following internal procedures and protocols; including but not limited to settling suspense and clearing

accounts

• Manages accruals to accurately reflect obligations monthly
• Performs regular internal audits to support financial accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Files required tax forms in compliance with federal, state, and local government agencies requirements
• Reconciles PO discrepancies and works with divisions and A/P to resolve
