Job Details
a full-time Staff Auditor who will be given a wide variety of diverse accounting and auditing assignments within the nonprofit, governmental, and privately owned company sectors. A Staff Auditor is expected to work in a team-focused environment to ensure work is completed timely and accurately. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assisting the supervisor with audit planning and setup.
Performing internal control evaluations.
Auditing financial statement account balances.
Drafting and compiling financial statements.
Drafting audit reports and related communication letters.
Researching and analyzing accounting and auditing concepts.
Participating in PPC’s strategic planning goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
CPA license or working toward obtaining license
One or more years of related experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to be effective and efficient in both team and individual capacities
A team player mentality with a positive, can-do attitude
Proactive and motivated individual who takes initiative for professional growth
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Able to travel out of town, with occasional overnight stays
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
Have a valid driver’s license
Have personal vehicle for client commute (the job requires in/out of town client commutes where a reliable vehicle is needed)
Have current auto insurance policy with at least minimum requirements for California
