Staff Logic Design Engineer

Known globally for nearly 40 years for designing, manufacturing, and selling integrated circuits (IC) and related products in Taiwan, the United States, and Hong Kong.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Design and develop new memory products, including functional block design using both HDL (i.e.
Verilog, VHDL), schematic gate entry, and synthesis tools.
 Maintain and improve logic design in existing products
 Perform metal only ECO by reviewing existing physical design and intended changes
 Full chip verification with Verilog simulation
 Define test mode
 Work with Physical Designer on logic synthesis
 Work with product and test engineers to debug and characterize product through qualification
of mass production.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 BSEE/MSEE plus years of design engineering experience.
 Experience with
o HDL design
o Logic design with schematic entry
o Physical design tools such as DC, ICC, PrimeTime, …etc.;
o Simulation tools such as Verilog, HSIM, FineSim or other full chip simulators;
o Layout tools such as Cadence, Laker;
 Knowledge of Memory design, IC debugging and characterizations
