Staff Software Engineer

We are a SaaS based company that helps our clients understand their business programs (Ethics and Compliance) better and provide access access and tools to help get them where they need to be faster.

We are looking for a talented Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Technology industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong and diverse background in various technologies as we migrate from legacy to more cutting edge technologies. Some of these technologies that we prefer are AWS, API, PaaS, SaaS, React.js, Data lakes, Angular, User Interface Design, microservices, refactoring, Machine learning, Java, and SQL as well as mentoring new team members. This is a full-time position that requires at least 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions.
• Lead the development of new features and functionality in our software products.
• Mentor new team members and help them learn best practices and technologies.
• Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code.
• Ensure that software solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, API, PaaS, SaaS, React.js, Data lakes, Angular, User Interface Design, Lead Software Engineer, mentoring new team members, microservices, refactoring, Machine learning, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
