Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Steel Estimator to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a central role in our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.

2. Prepare detailed cost estimates by breaking down the items of work necessary to implement the project.

3. Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel estimating in the industrial and commercial construction industry.

3. Proficiency in Bluebeam and other estimating software.
