We are in need of a Structural Engineer in training that must be in the process of becoming a PE or have their FE (Fundamental of Engineering) Credentials.

This position is located in our Ambler, PA office

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, designing and laying out systems in accordance with established policies, standards, procedures, and codes. The ideal candidate should be able to exercise sound judgment in their application and apply practical knowledge and experience to resolve problems and conflicts related to the projects assigned to them.

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations and design systems in accordance with established policies, standards, procedures, and codes.
• Exercise sound judgment in the application of policies, standards, procedures, and codes.
• Apply practical knowledge and experience to resolve problems and conflicts related to the projects assigned.
• Make independent decisions for engineering tasks on the projects assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Possess FE certification or in the process of obtaining FE certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering calculations and design.
• Strong knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, and codes related to the field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
