We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent for Land Development to join our thriving team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-motivated professional with a solid background in multi-site management, civil construction, and irrigation systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of multiple sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership acumen, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of land development projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently.
3. Review and approve civil and wet plans, dry utility plans, and geotechnical evaluations.
4. Manage the construction of utilities and irrigation systems.
5. Provide leadership and direction to construction crews, ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
6. Handle multiple project sites simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are progressing on schedule and within budget.
7. Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
9. Foster a culture of safety and ensure all crew members adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
10. Regularly communicate project status to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development or a related field.
3. Proven experience in multi-site management, civil construction, and irrigation systems.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting dry utility plans, civil plans, and wet plans.
5. Extensive knowledge of geotechnical evaluations.
6. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively manage construction crews.
7. Excellent understanding of safety regulations in the construction industry.
8. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
