Are you a seasoned construction professional looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity? We are a leading company in the construction industry, seeking a Permanent Superintendent to oversee our local projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.


As a Permanent Superintendent, your primary role will be to oversee all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all phases of construction from initiation to completion.
2. Directing and coordinating the activities of project teams, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
3. Ensuring all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
4. Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring all site personnel adhere to these standards.
5. Identifying and resolving any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
7. Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and the public, to keep them informed of progress and address any concerns.
8. Preparing and presenting project updates and reports to senior management.


To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in managing large-scale projects.
2. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to direct and coordinate the work of a diverse project team.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
7. The ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant technology.
9. A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
