Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise the work of trade contractors in several areas of a project
• Enforce high safety standards including a clean job site
• Manage and perform weekly safety inspections
• Inspect the quality of work for compliance with design standard and ensure corrective action occurs if/when necessary
• Work collaboratively on the schedule for individual trade contractors or areas of a project to ensure milestone dates are met
• Coordinate and manage general conditions work and project logistics
• Review shop drawings and submittals

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants should possess the following minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
• Excellent ability to multi-task and keep up-to-date knowledge of project processes
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-starter
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Strong overall computer skills
• Ability to read and understand architectural construction drawings and specifications
• Be a catalyst for change
• Clean driving record is a requirement
• Each project has specific characteristics regarding size, complexity, sector, etc. which dictate the precise years of experience and industry knowledge necessary for success.
