Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent for Multifamily Construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing high-end multifamily and condominium construction projects, including high rise and mid-rise structures, from inception to completion. This role demands a high level of technical expertise, keen attention to detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of all facets of residential construction. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from initial planning and development to execution and completion.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, ensuring quality control and compliance with project timelines and budget.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Manage and resolve any emerging issues, conflicts or emergencies on the construction site.
5. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned with project goals and expectations.
6. Maintain a thorough understanding of blueprints, plans, and specifications; address any discrepancies with appropriate parties.
7. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
8. Coordinate and oversee inspections for local health, safety, and building departments.
9. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Project Manager in the multifamily construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing high-end, multifamily, and condominium construction projects, including high rise and mid-rise structures.
3. Extensive knowledge of residential construction processes, including framing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, drywall, and flooring.
4. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications.
9. Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
11. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
12. Must be able to physically navigate construction job sites, including climbing ladders and navigating uneven terrain.
