** This person will transition into a Supply Chain Manager by 5/2026, as the incumbent is retiring. This will be accompanied by a substantial pay increase between the range of $105k-$120k **

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Supply Chain Associate to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring that all aspects of our inventory control are managed effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the quote-to-cash process, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in supply chain management. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the entire supply chain process, from the initial quote to the final cash transaction.
2. Implement and maintain inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Develop and execute strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
4. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to forecast future supply needs.
5. Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
6. Regularly assess supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure the best cost and quality.
7. Train and mentor junior staff members in supply chain procedures and best practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Solid understanding of the quote-to-cash and inventory control processes.
4. Proven track record in supply chain management, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and performance.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best cost and quality from suppliers.
6. Strong analytical skills, with a talent for interpreting complex supply chain data.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
8. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
9. Ability to train and mentor junior staff members.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
