Surgical Technologist - Instructor

Due to growth, we are seeking to hire an experienced CST, Certified Surgical Technologist (Instructor and Preceptor) to join our team!

Employment: Full-time/Part-time
Schedule: M-F, 9am-5pm
Pay: $50K-$88K per year (depending on experience/job title)

Job Title: Clinical Preceptor serves as a clinical resource for students while students perform clinical tasks. It is not the expectation that the preceptor acts as an instructor, but rather the preceptor is responsible for the on-site supervision and assessment of the students while on clinical. The preceptor connects classroom and clinical area and their knowledge guides students to manage clinical assignments, meet course outcomes, and articulate areas of opportunity and concern to the faculty member.

Requirements:

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist credential)
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Title: Clinical Instructor staff must be responsible for directing, evaluating, and reporting student progress towards course objectives and for the periodic review and updating of course material.

Requirements:

• Possess an Associate Degree or greater in the healthcare field (desired)
• Previous teaching experience in the healthcare field is preferred
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist credential)
