The Microsoft 365 Engineer will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of our Microsoft Office 365 environment. This role requires a skilled professional with in-depth knowledge of the Office 365 suite, including Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other related applications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a passion for driving technology solutions to meet business needs in a fast-paced growth minded environment.

Responsibilities include the following:
Ability to be the Company subject matter expert for Microsoft 365
Ability to develop, configure, and rollout power shell scripting.
Implement automation tools to automate activities and business processes.
Manage, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant settings, user accounts, security groups, and licenses to ensure smooth business operations and adherence to company policies.
Administer Exchange Online, including mailbox management, distribution lists, email routing, and security measures to safeguard against potential threats.
Facilitate the implementation and management of updates and changes to the field for all Microsoft 365 products.
Deploy advanced Microsoft 365 Services including enterprise and mobility features. Also roll out new features and updates for Office 365 when available.
Oversee OneDrive for Business environments, managing permissions, workflows, and content organization to facilitate seamless collaboration among teams.
Assist in maintaining all collaboration applications and deploying other client applications in other environments.
Implement security best practices, data loss prevention (DLP) policies and compliance measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance while working with the security team.
Provide timely and efficient technical support to end-users and vendors for Microsoft 365- related issues, including user access, application errors, and other incidents. Also help support applications and environments.
Lead initiatives for researching and deploying new applications.
Collaborate with other IT team members to integrated Microsoft 365 with other systems, troubleshoot cross platform issues, and assist in other technology projects.

Requirements:
5 years of IT support experience
3+ years of Microsoft 365 experience
Prior exp in a fast paced critical support role
Prior experience leading teams
Decision making & Critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Ability to learn, support and train on new technologies
Energetic & highly motivated self-starter
Strong knowledge of Zoom
Expert knowledge in exchange
Experience in managing work flows between HRIS and active directory preferred.
