Currently we are looking for Systems Administrators NATIONWIDE.

The role of the Systems Administrator is to ensure the security and stable operation of any company system through proper planning, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This position will resolve on-premise, cloud, and software issues in a timely manner. They will support other IT staff and provide end user support when needed. Staff in this position will be relied upon for systems management, consideration for systems will interact with on-premise, cloud, the network, and applications across the enterprise.

Job Details

Job Functions:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and configuration of computer systems
  • Ensure smooth operation of all aspects of our Microsoft on-prem and cloud environment and SD-WAN environments.
  • Provide support for both AWS and Azure
  • Interface with Security and Compliance Teams for SOX, SOCII documentation requirements
  • Work with software vendors, consultants, and others as necessary
  • Ensure data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions
  • Create and maintain proper documentation for assigned systems
  • Provide end user support as needed
  • Maintain inventories as assigned
  • Interpret business system requirements and, using industry best practices and professional experience, design, test and implement server and system infrastructures.
  • Work within and outside of their immediate technical area to troubleshoot system issues
  • Assist more junior personnel as necessary, guiding their activities
  • Take steps necessary to maintain expertise in assigned systems
  • Research and recommend IT solutions for company and department needs
  • Maintain current knowledge of disaster recovery plans and executables
  • Provide support on a regular basis outside of standard business hours

You Should know some of the following:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in architecting and implementing solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure workloads, preferably in a brand-new environment
  • Experience migrating and managing virtual servers between VMware and Azure or AWS
  • Experience with SD-WAN and Meraki technologies
  • Experience with remote datacenters and virtualized, SAN dependent infrastructure
  • Hands-on expertise with the following Microsoft, Active Directory, Azure, and general technologies
  • Active Directory, Identity Management
  • Subscriptions
  • PowerShell
  • Security - Conditional Access, Compliance, MFA, RBAC, SLAM
  • Office Productivity Software such as MS Office, Power BI, et al
  • Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies
