We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Permanent Systems Engineer to join our reputable legal firm. You will be a part of our highly skilled IT team, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our critical IT systems. Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage the firm's complex IT systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Exchange, Network, Citrix, LAN, and WAN.
2. Monitor the performance of the system networks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure.
3. Develop and maintain system security protocols to protect sensitive legal data.
4. Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to understand their requirements and provide optimal IT solutions.
5. Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to utilize IT systems effectively.
6. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the firm's IT strategy.
7. Prepare detailed reports on the status, performance, and effectiveness of the IT systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, preferably in the legal industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Exchange, Network, Citrix, LAN, and WAN.
4. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT systems.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
7. Up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Strong understanding of IT security protocols and data protection regulations.
