Our company is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with a strong background in corporate and partnership taxes. This is a permanent, full-time position within our dynamic Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing tax planning and advisory services. This role is a critical part of our team, providing expert guidance on tax matters and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.


  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and S Corp tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed tax research and analysis on various complex tax issues and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory services to help optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to gather necessary information for tax reporting.
  • Keep up to date with current tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing all necessary tax documentation and explanations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on tax matters to senior management.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate and partnership taxes.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of tax laws and regulations, particularly relating to corporations, partnerships, and S Corps.
  • Proven experience in tax return preparation and review.
  • Excellent tax research and analysis skills.
  • Proficient in tax preparation software and accounting systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax information clearly and effectively to non-financial staff and senior management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or working towards it would be an asset.
