We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of tax accounting, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Develop tax strategies and plans to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax issues and opportunities
• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders
• Provide tax advice and guidance to clients and colleagues
• Manage and mentor junior tax accountants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax software such as Thompson Reuters
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
