We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Tax Attorney to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of tax-related legal matters, including representing clients in court cases, negotiating tax-related compromises with the IRS, and providing strategic tax planning advice. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Attorney, you will be tasked with:

1. Representing clients in court cases regarding tax-related legal disputes.
2. Negotiating tax-related compromises with the IRS on behalf of our clients.
3. Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Providing expert tax planning advice to our clients, helping them to minimize their tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
5. Preparing and filing tax returns on behalf of our clients.
6. Keeping abreast of developments in tax law and regulations, and advising clients accordingly.
7. Collaborating with our accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all tax-related tasks.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Tax Attorney, you must possess the following:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A valid license to practice law in your state (State Bar) and a passing score on the MPRE.
3. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tax Attorney, preferably within the Finance industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of tax law, with a proven track record of successfully representing clients in tax-related legal disputes.
5. Excellent legal research skills.
6. Experience in preparing and filing tax returns.
7. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully negotiating tax-related compromises with the IRS.
8. A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
11. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
