Tax Attorney

Our Firm is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Tax Associate Attorney to join our thriving Legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and handle complex tax-related issues. The successful candidate will be expected to stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to assist our clients in tax planning and compliance. They will also be tasked with navigating the complexities of income and corporate tax planning. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses a deep understanding of tax law.

1. Provide expert legal advice on tax issues to a diverse range of clients.
2. Conduct thorough research to stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations and accurately interpret these laws.
3. Prepare and review tax-related documents and ensure their compliance with laws and regulations.
4. Collaborate with the legal team to handle complex tax issues and provide comprehensive legal solutions.
5. Develop relationships with clients and maintain a clear line of communication.
6. Collaborate with accountants and tax advisors to ensure all financial matters align with the tax laws.

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Attorney or in a similar role.
3. A current license to practice law.
4. Extensive knowledge of tax law, income tax planning, and corporate tax planning.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
8. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
11. Proficient in tax preparation software and other related software.
