Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Attorney to join our highly respected legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing legal advice on a wide range of tax matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in tax law, estate planning, trusts, and estate and gift tax. This role is integral to our firm's success, and we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of tax law and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive tax law advice to clients, including individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
2. Conduct research on complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions.
3. Prepare and review tax-related documents, such as estate plans, trust agreements, and gift tax returns.
4. Represent clients before tax authorities and in court proceedings.
5. Provide advice on estate planning, including the creation and administration of trusts and estates.
6. Keep abreast of changes in tax law and regulations, and inform clients of potential impacts.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide holistic legal services to clients.
8. Deliver presentations and seminars on tax law topics to clients and the broader legal community.
9. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a tax attorney preferably with audits and debt resolution
4. Extensive knowledge of tax law, estate planning, trusts, and estate and gift tax.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Experience in presenting complex legal strategies to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
11. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation would be a plus.
