Tax Manager- Immediate Opportunity in Tampa

We are a full-service public accounting firm providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to clients throughout the southeast United States. Our fast-growing CPA firm is seeking a career and partner- track minded Senior Accountant (Tax track) to conduct and supervise financial accounting and compilations for business clients, prepare and review personal and business tax returns, and consult with clients on a broad range of management, tax, and accounting related matters.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Assist business owners and personal tax clients through the planning, preparation, and review of their income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Review accounting and compilations prepared by accounting associates and seniors.
• Enjoy building new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client businesses.
• Perform tax law and financial research.
• Provides tax planning for corporate and individual clients.
• Represent clients with the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities.
• Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals.
• Supervise and develop a team of 2 or 3 accounting and tax seniors and associates.
• Work between our two Tampa offices on various projects.

Desired Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Current FL CPA Licensed required
• 4+ years prior strong technical tax experience in a CPA firm. Including Scorps and LLCs.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Must be independent with strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Ultratax, Accounting CS, a plus, but not required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with teams in various levels
